The Institute is governed by the Board of Governors. Members of the Board of Governors are acknowledged experts in science, education, technology, industry, and social services.
The Scientific Council debates and decides upon questions concerning the scientific work done at the Institute. It develops proposals for long-term research and development goals and provides a professional foundation for the research program and development goals of the Institute.
The Director is responsible for the day-to-day functioning and management of the Institute. In addition, the Director is entrusted with leading the professional and scientific affairs of the Institute. He is also responsible for the organization of activities, professional standards, as well as the legality of work carried out at the Institute.
