RTIT: Knowhow Communities for Accelerating RTI Transfer in the Danube Region
This year, the National Institute of Chemistry has entered into a partnership with 12 regional institutions and companies. Dubbed RTIT (Research, Technology and Innovation Transfer), our project is aimed at establishing knowhow communities in the Danube region. The objective is to strengthen the cooperation between SMEs and institutions involved in research, technology development, and innovation – mainly in the field of materials and material technologies. The three transnational thematics are:
- Bio-based materials,
- Sustainable materials and technologies,
- Advanced materials.
The project is aligned with our vision, mission and 2024–2027 strategy as it facilitates sustainable development, a prudent use of resources, and digitalization by creating favorable conditions for the transfer of knowledge into the economy and industry. At the same time, the project also drives economic development in the region by strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of SMEs in European value chains.
The project is co-financed by the European Union as part of the Interreg Danube Region program.
