National Insitute of Chemistry promotes cooperation and integration among young people within the Forum 40, where young scientists are transferring their knowledge to younger colleagues.

Young researchers at the institute have the opportunity of training abroad, namely in the form of study projects at foreign universities, research institutes, or in the form of experimental work. Fundings for training abroad may be obtained in tenders advertised by:

Financial mechanism of the European Commission for research and innovation activities Horizon 2020 funds the trainings and mobility of young researchers.

Programme Marie Sklodowska Curie ITN enables funding for doctoral students and IF  for postdocs or researchers with four years of experience or more. The grant provides an allowance to cover the living, travel and family costs.

Additionally, some international organizations offer financial support as short or long-term fellowships for research experience in laboratories outside Slovenia:
