The Consortium of Project Management Offices has launched the 5xPRO project

In April 2023, we started the project "5xPRO Consortium of Project Management Offices for Strengthening Excellence, Interdisciplinarity and International Involvement of the Slovenian Research Area", which was successfully won in the public tender "Activities for Strengthening Project Management Offices in Public Research Organisations" by the consortium of 5 public institutes:

  • the National Institute of Chemistry as the leading consortium partner,
  • the National Institute of Biology,
  • the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts,
  • the Institute of Contemporary History,
  • the Institute of Metals and Technology.

The goal of the project is to increase knowledge and competencies and improve collaboration among project partners of the 5xPRO consortium, including non-governmental organisations, researchers and key stakeholders. Under the 5xPRO project, we have committed to increasing the quality of applications by 2% compared to Horizon 2020 and submitting 100 applications to central calls each year, strengthening the skills of more than 1,300 employees and creating a new structure to strengthen project applications.

We invite you to follow the consortium partners' posts on social media, where we will keep you updated on progress and achievements, especially events that will also be open to the general public.

The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union - NextGeneration EU.
