»Premoščanje vrzeli med generacijami raziskovalcev v akademskih okoljih: učinkovita komunikacija in motivacijske strategije za sodelovanje generacij raziskovalcev«

doc. Tamara Pavasović Trošt, PhD.  -  Ekonomska fakulteta Univerze v Ljubljani

Velika predavalnica. Predavanje bo v angleškem jeziku.

Kratek opis:
The gap between academics in senior and junior roles is widening, due to changing academic environments (possibilities for mobility, career advancement, definitions of success, the role of advisors in knowledge transfer and professional socialization), as well as generational shifts in values regarding work-life balance and lifestyle changes. In this presentation, we will identify the structural/systemic, institutional, and social causes for these changes in academia, and examine possibilities for overcoming them under the constraints of the academic system: how to better communicate, motivate and engage across generations.
