Heterogeneous catalysis engineering
The main focus is design and development of multi-functional nanostructured catalysts, applicable to the following fields: C-H bond activation in light alkanes, partial oxidation, syngas chemistry, and methane and carbon dioxide valorization. Research is aimed at understanding the chemistry of these transformations, occuring over the catalyst's surface.
