Project Management Office
At the National Institute of Chemistry, we recognise that international collaboration is of strategic importance for advancing scientific excellence, securing competitive research funding, and successfully translating research results into practice. To support these objectives, the Institute has established the Project Management Office.
The Project Management Office provides comprehensive support to researchers by facilitating:
- participation in international research projects,
- engagement in European and international research networks and partnerships,
- the establishment and strengthening of collaborations with national and international research organisations, as well as industrial partners.
Our services include:
- regular updates on international funding opportunities, research calls and relevant events (via the NIC intranet),
- assistance in identifying suitable national and international project partners,
- close cooperation with National Contact Points for EU R&I programmes and with the European Commission,
- professional support throughout the entire proposal preparation process – from identifying the most appropriate funding scheme, developing project ideas and preparing competitive proposals to providing financial and administrative guidance, while ensuring alignment with the priorities, policies and strategic objectives of the European Union,
- support in establishing and developing collaborations with industrial partners,
- organisation of training courses, workshops and information sessions to strengthen researchers' participation in the European Research Area,
- strategic support to the Institute's management and governing bodies on matters related to international research funding and long-term research strategy.
We work with researchers from the initial development of a project idea until the conclusion of the consortium agreement and the grant agreement.
