Young Investigator

In The Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at the National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia, we employ a creative young investigator in the field of electroanalytical chemistry/electrochemical sensing.

The candidate should comply with the conditions stated in the article 103 of the Pravilnik o postopkih (so)financiranja, ocenjevanja in spremljanja izvajanja raziskovalne dejavnosti (Uradni list RS 45/12).

We offer an interesting study and creative research work in the frame of the following main topics:

•    development, study and preparation/design of electrochemical sensors for measuring inorganic and organic species
•    development and applications of biosensors
•    miniaturization of electrochemical sensor devices
•    applications of nano-materials and nano-technologies in modern electrochemical sensing, ...

The young investigator will have a great opportunity to gain research experience also by visiting our partners in Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Ireland, Israel, USA ..., to work in creative and stimulating environment with access to the state-of-the-art equipment in the field.
