NETKO award for the CCEdit project website

Website of the CCEdit project, which is implemented within the ERC Proof-of-Concept, granted to prof. dr. Roman Jerala in 2020, won first place in the NETKO 2021 competition in the category 'Best website of a public or non-governmental organization'.

The NETKO competition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia and Register.si, which operates under the auspices of the Academic and Research Network of Slovenia - ARNES. The award is a symbol of online excellence and is intended for the best online projects of companies, institutions, offices and individuals who host on the .si domain. The projects were evaluated by an 18-member commission of experts in the fields of digital world, communication and modern business.

The goal of the CCEdit project is to further develop technology to improve the CRISPR method for genome regulation for use in therapy and biotechnology. Through active cooperation between the members of the CCEdit project group and an external contractor, Kreativna tovarna, d.o.o., we presented the content according to the concept used by modern biotechnology companies. CCEdit therefore has its own logo, a detailed presentation of the team and external partners, and we concretized the rather abstract content of the project by using graphics and animations produced by Ahim Effects, s.p. The target group for which the contents are prepared are industry, investors and the medical profession, with which we could form development and other business relationships.
