Scientists present their work
Natural sciences are developing quickly, which constantly brings new challenges, not only for scientists. The public must follow too, which is much harder. The National Institute of Chemistry wishes to help with understanding the topics like genetically modified organisms, e-cars and water saving…already at the young age. Topics that are being presented to the youth in an understandable way encourage their critical thinking and their relationship towards science as an important social branch.
Lectures with demonstrations of experiments or laboratory visits are appropriate for the third triad of primary school children or students, because they require some prior knowledge. Schools can schedule a visit during the whole school year and together we will find a subject that is interesting to them.
