Equipment and expertise
We combine our expertise with practical experience in the use of advanced instrumentation/equipment that are available:
in our laboratory:
- equipment for protein expression and purification with a dedicated setup for the preparation of isotopically labeled protein samples tailored for NMR studies
- VERTEX 80 FTIR spectrometer equipped with RAM II FT-Raman Module
- TENSOR 27 FTIR spectrometer with (Polarization Modulation Accessory) PMA 50 VCD spectrometry, equipped with ATR sampling Specac Golden Gate accessory (single reflection diamond) and temperature controller
- 2DQuick femtosecond 2D IR spectrometer with the Solstice Ace high-energy ultrafast amplifier, the TOPAS Prime optical parametric amplifier and the non-collinear difference frequency generator
within the NIC infrastructure:
- High-field NMR spectrometers with cryogenic probes from the Slovenian NMR centre
- High Performance Computer Cluster of the Ažman Computing Centre
