14th EFIS/EJI SOUTH EAST EUROPEAN IMMUNOLOGY SCHOOL (SEEIS2025)

With pleasure, we invite you to participate in the 14th EFIS-EJI South East European Immunology School (SEEIS2025), supported by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) together with the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) and sponsored by Euroimmun and Becton Dickinson. The school will be held in Seferihisar (İzmir), Türkiye at the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, from October 24 to October 27, 2025.

This traditional school is mainly held for PhD students, young scientists and doctors from South Eastern Europe interested in the state-of-the-art of immunology and translating the new achievements to the patients. A group of international speakers will ensure a highly interactive, scientifically stimulating and intense conference program. They will highlight recent advances in inflammation research, T and B cell biology, immunogenetics, MHC and infection, autoimmunity, diagnostics of autoimmune diseases and updates on new technologies and trends. By successfully hosting thirteen schools since 2009, SEEIS has already established a tradition and has become a sort of trademark.

Moreover, there will be practical courses in fluorescence microscopy for autoantibody detection and courses on basic and advanced flow cytometry. Attendance in this school is limited to 60 persons on a competitive basis. Participation at the school is free of charge. Selected participants will also get free accommodation. We will be able to partially cover travel costs. Accompanying persons cannot be accommodated.
