15th EFIS/EJI SOUTH EASTERN EUROPEAN IMMUNOLOGY SCHOOL (SEEIS2026)

October 30 – November 2, 2026, Kobuleti, Georgia

Deadline for applications is 15th of June, 2026.

With pleasure, we invite you to participate in the 15th EFIS-EJI South Eastern European Immunology School (SEEIS2026), supported by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) together with the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) and the International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS), sponsored by HVD Life Sciences and Becton Dickinson, and under the auspices of the Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology, the Croatian Society for Immunology, the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, the German Society for Immunology, the Immunology Society of Slovenia and the Turkish Society for Immunology. The school will be held in Kobuleti, Georgia at the shore of the Black Sea, from October 30 to November 2, 2026.

This traditional school is mainly held for PhD students, young scientists and doctors from South Eastern Europe interested in the state-of-the-art of immunology and translating the new achievements to the patients. A group of international speakers will ensure a highly interactive, scientifically stimulating and intense conference program. They will highlight recent advances in inflammation research, T and B cell biology, immunogenetics, MHC and infection, autoimmunity, diagnostics of autoimmune diseases and updates on new technologies and trends. By successfully hosting fourteen schools since 2009, SEEIS has already established a tradition and has become a sort of trademark.

Attendance in this school is limited to 60 persons on a competitive basis. Participation at the school is free of charge and the accommodation (housing, food) from Friday evening to Monday morning will also be covered. The travel costs will need to be covered by the participants, although we will likely be able to give a small subsidy. Accompanying persons cannot be accommodated.

We encourage young researchers to apply for the school where all faculty members and participants will have an opportunity for constant interaction and exchanges.

Use this opportunity and apply for participation!

We look forward to meeting you in beautiful Georgia!
