ŠPELA PETRIČ: Three experiments in plant intercognition
Špela Petrič received her PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Ljubljana in 2011 and then her MA from the LUCA School of Art in Brussels, Belgium in 2013. Her artistic-scientific practice is interdisciplinary, combining natural science, live media and performance.
The exhibition at the gallery of the National Institute of Chemistry will present three projects, namely "Scotopopoiesis", where Petričeva investigates the influence of light on plant growth, "Lip Reading", where the artist explores her relationship to aspects of communication with plants, and the project "PL'AI", in which she anticipates and initiates a game between artificial intelligence and plants.
The exhibition will be on display until 15.01.2024
