URŠA ČUK: Cosmic irrelevance, april 2023
Urša Čuk (rastrLAB) works as a visual and digital artist. Her work focuses on multiple media, with a focus on photography, graphic design, video and audiovisual projections. Her work explores the interrelationships between visual images and sound, which she combines into final visual works. Most of Urša's visual images are based on a view of a dystopian future, reflecting the situation in the real world. The artist's desire is to push the boundaries of visual storytelling through the use of technology. Under the artistic name rastrLAB, she explores the world of live visualisations (VJ), which draws its enthusiasm mainly from the instability of a certain texture, which has infinite possibilities of transformation depending on the sound.
